Constellation satellite mobile communication system is the main development direction of satellite communication application in the future. Relying on the integration of inherent advantages of satellites and new technological advantages, constellation satellite mobile communication system has attracted great attention at home and abroad. This paper analyzes the latest development status of two kinds of satellite mobile communication systems of constellation from both foreign and domestic aspects, and mainly introduces Inmarsat system and Starlink system abroad and "Tiantong 1", "Hongyan" and "Hongyun" system in China. Combined with the application characteristics of constellation satellite mobile communication, the development trend of satellite mobile communication system including low orbit, dual-use, intelligent communication, low cost and high quality communication is analyzed. Constellation satellite mobile communication system has a huge commercial communication and military application value, our country must make full use of long-term accumulation of aerospace technology and satellite communication technology, the use of space resources reasonable planning, strengthening the construction of constellation satellite mobile communication system, relying on the construction of "integration of heaven and earth" network satellite mobile communication system, promote the construction of informatization.
